FC DALLAS HEAD COACH COLIN CLARKE TO COACH MLS ALL-STARS:
FC Dallas Head Coach Colin Clarke and his staff will lead the MLS All-Stars against English Premier League club Fulham FC at the 2005 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game on Saturday, July 30 at Crew Stadium in Columbus (2:30 p.m. CST on ABC). Clarke is the first coach in the team's 10-year history to coach in an All-Star Game after leading FC Dallas to their best start in club history at 10-2-4 for 34 points.

"It's a great honor to coach in the All-Star Game and it means that our team has done very well thus far," said Clarke. "I'm looking forward to this game and making a statement for MLS. I'm very competitive and I hate to lose. But Fulham will also be taking it very seriously and they are a team that has done well over recent years in England. There will definitely be an edge to this game."

MLS ALL-STAR STARTERS TO BE ANNOUNCED ON JULY 13: The MLS All-Star starting XI will be announced on Wednesday, July 13. The starters are determined by online fan balloting comprising 25 percent of the total vote, with MLS coaches and GMs (25 percent), media (25 percent) and players (25 percent) accounting for the remainder. On Thursday, July 14, FC Dallas Head Coach Colin Clarke and his staff will select five All-Star Game reserves, who will join two other Commissioner selections to comprise the MLS 18-man roster.


SECOND HALF DOMINANCE: FC Dallas outshot the San Jose Earthquakes 11-1 in the second half on July 2 at the Cotton Bowl and continued their second half success during this 2005 season. The team has yielded seven second half goals in 16 matches and have outscored their opponents by a 19-7 margin during second half play. The 19 goals for in the second half are the second most in MLS and the seven goals against ties with New England for the fewest given up in the league.


FC DALLAS WEEKLY HEADS TO DAVE AND BUSTER'S IN FRISCO: Please join us this week for the weekly FC Dallas Radio Show with Ray Canevari on KFCD 990 AM. "FC Dallas Weekly" airs every Thursday from 6-7 p.m. on KFCD. Continuing this week, Canevari and KFCD will take the weekly show to Dave and Buster's at the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco. This week, Canevari is scheduled to have interviews with Head Coach Colin Clarke and FC Dallas defender David Wagenfuhr. Wagenfuhr will then sign autographs at the team's kiosk at Stonebriar Mall from 7 to 8 p.m.
