Webcam at Bridgeview Stadium site now live on www.Chicago-Fire.com

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire fans from Harlem Avenue to across the globe can now see the club's new home grow via the internet, as the Fire has announced that a webcam placed at the site of the Bridgeview Stadium is now live. Visitors can direct their browsers to the team's official web site, www.Chicago-Fire.com, or click here to track the progress of the future home of the Fire.

"It's great to be able to check online to see the progress of the stadium," said Fire President/GM Peter Wilt. "It is an easy way to see how quickly the stadium is going up. This is a great service for all the Fire fans who are eagerly awaiting the opening of the stadium in Bridgeview."

The webcam will update an image of the construction site, located at the corner of Harlem and 71st Street in the Village of Bridgeview, every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day. Fans can watch the facility take shape all the way up to the opening of the project in the Spring of 2006. Plans for a quick-motion video will be in the works near the end of the construction project to show the start-to-finish process of building what will become "America's Soccer Home" and Major League Soccer's fourth soccer specific stadium.

Renderings of the Bridgeview Stadium project are also available on www.Chicago-Fire.com in the "Stadium" portion of the site, and can be seen by clicking the "Bridgeview Images" link on the right side of that page.
