Six participants won their division of the Real Salt Lake Team Championship competition held Saturday, Sept. 24 as part of the Sierra Mist MLS Dribble, Pass & Score program.
The event took place at RSL's Rice-Eccles stadium prior to Real Salt Lake vs. Columbus Crew. Twenty-four competitors earned the right to compete in the Team Championship competition after capturing top honors at the Local and Sectional levels of the program that began in January of this year.
Once all 12 MLS Team Championships have been completed and scores computed, the top four scorers in each age division selected from all 12 MLS Team Championships will qualify for the National Finals to be held in November at MLS Cup 2005 at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX.
