Robinson, Waibel team with Mix 106.5 for hurricane relief

Eddie Robinson and Craig Waibel won a game of foosball over two San Jose Sharks.

Earthquakes defenders Eddie Robinson and Craig Waibel made a special stop for breakfast Thursday morning before joining the rest of their teammates at practice. The Quakes duo dropped by the Sonoma Chicken Coop in Campbell to be a part of Mix 106.5's Breakfast With Bill & Marla...Hurricane Relief Roadshow!

Robinson and Waibel joined morning show hosts Bill & Marla and special guests like San Jose Sharks players Scott Hannan and Mark Smith and comedian Bob Saget. The Sonoma Chicken Coop provided free breakfast to everyone who stopped by and gave a donation and took part in the silent auction.

One hundred percent of the money raised went directly to the Santa Clara Valley American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Fund, and there was quite a bit of money raised, especially through the auction which featured an Earthquakes behind the scenes tour, plus tickets to an upcoming game, a San Jose Sharks President's suite, autographed San Francisco 49er gear, and tickets to concerts like Sheryl Crow, Green Day and Paul McCartney.

After going on air for a quick interview with Bill & Marla, Waibel and Robinson took on the Sharks duo of Hannan and Smith in a hard-fought game of foosball, with the Earthquakes prevailing, ensuring that everyone left breakfast feeling good about helping out such a good cause.
