Reserves: Chivas USA 2, Rapids 2

With two goals from forward Isaac Romo, the Chivas USA Reserves (1-8-1, 4 pts.) earned their first draw of Major League Soccer's inaugural Reserve Division, tying the Colorado Rapids Reserves (3-4-3, 12 pts.) 2-2 today at The Home Depot Center's Track and Field Stadium.

Romo scored in the 26th minute off a header following an Héctor Cuadros freekick, and then converted a 43rd-minute penalty kick to pull the hosts even at 2-2. Luchi González scored both goals for the visitors, firing home a shot following a Sasha Gotsmanov corner kick in the 7th minute and tapping in a rebound off a Wolde Harris penalty kick that was saved by Sergio García in the 18th minute.

Both sides finished the match with ten men after second-half expulsions of Chivas USA defender Trevor Perssons and Rapids midfielder Leo Cullen.

With the result, Chivas USA's result improves to 1-8-1, while Colorado's improves to 3-4-3 in the 12-team table.
