IFC Films and Bristol Bay Productions brings the story of the United States' 1950 World Cup to the big screen, as written and directed by Angelo Pizzo and David Anspaugh, the team that made such sports movie hits as Hoosiers and Rudy.

The Game Of Their Lives follows the unheralded and inexperienced 1950 U.S. team made up of amateurs through their brief 10-day training stint to the World Cup in Brazil. The United States team came together and pulled off one of the most stunning upsets in soccer history, shocking England 1-0 despite heavy odds against them. Patrick Stewart, Gerard Butler, Wes Bentley, Gavin Rossdale, Jay Rodan and Zachery Bryan star in the film, while former MLS players like John Harkes and Eric Wynalda also have roles in the movie.
