Pizza Hut Park announces 10-year agreement with Coors

DALLAS - Pizza Hut Park President and General Manager Greg Elliott announced today that Coors Brewing Company has become a Signature Partner of the new facility.

"We applaud Coors for sharing in our vision of this new facility," said Elliott. "We look forward to hosting a variety of events each year, with Coors as our partner."

Coors is the exclusive marketing partner of the facility in the Domestic Beer category. The northwest end of the stadium will feature a Coors Beer Garden, which will be a focal point for adult fans attending soccer matches, concerts and other events at the stadium. In addition, Coors will be the title sponsor for an annual international soccer match at the stadium, and will also be the title sponsor for an annual Hispanic adult soccer tournament within the soccer park.

Coors will also work closely with the North Texas State Soccer Association to develop an annual adult soccer tournament focused not only on their member adult players, but adult soccer players throughout the country.

North Texas Soccer represents 24,000 adult players, 40,000 indoor players, 25,000 coaches, 6,600 referees, and over 1,300 administrators. Including member spouses and parents, the North Texas Soccer family is estimated to be at least 500,000 strong.

Coors becomes the fifth Signature Partner of Pizza Hut Park. Other previously announced Signature Partners include Dr Pepper, Texans Credit Union, Chevrolet and Baylor Health Care System.

FC Dallas, a charter member club of Major League Soccer, will begin play in the new 21,193 seat soccer stadium on August 6, 2005. The 117-acre Pizza Hut Park will be located at the intersection of Main Street and Dallas North Tollway in Frisco. The facility will accommodate Major League Soccer matches, major concerts, international soccer matches and High School football. Adjacent to the stadium will be 17 regulation-sized, tournament-grade soccer fields which will be utilized on a year-round basis.
