MLS Cup 2005 Random Computerized Ticket Drawing: Two days left to enter

Frisco, TX: Pizza Hut Park Interim General Manager John Alper announced today that the MLS CUP 2005 Random Computerized Drawing will come to a close on Friday, September 30 at Midnight, giving fans only 48 hours remaining to enter to win a chance at the 2,000 premium location tickets that have been set aside for this program.

The Random Computerized Drawing was established to give fans the best possible chance to see America's premier soccer event that is being held at new Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX on Sunday, November 13 at 2:30 p.m. (CDT). This will be the first MLS league championship match ever to be played in the state of Texas and will be the crowning jewel of the historic 10th Year of Major League Soccer.

For MLS Cup 2005, the plan will assure that the general public will have access to at least 10% of the stadium capacity (roughly 2,000 tickets).

To date, MLS Cup 2005 has received fully paid RCD entries and/or ticket orders from 36 different states, plus the District of Columbia, a member of the Pacific Armed Forces and four foreign countries (England, Germany, Mexico and Nigeria). The breadth of these orders indicates the phenomenal national and international interest in the game and we anticipate that RCD entries will dramatically increase over these final two days before the RCD deadline of Midnight, September 30.

RCD entries are available in four basic price ranges:

$60 Plaza Box
$50 Sideline
$40 Corner View
$30 Endline

There is no limit on the number of entries an individual may make in the RCD, although each entry is limited to four tickets per order.

Payment for the orders are non-refundable, except in the event the MLS Cup 2005 is unable to fill the order at the conclusion of the Midnight, September 30 Entry Deadline. All persons submitting an entry will be notified of the final status of their ticket entry by October 4 - 40 days before the event.

Following the completion of the RCD, the remainder of tickets available for MLS Cup 2005 will first be available for special group package orders through October 12 and then will be opened for individual public sale, beginning on October 15.

MLS Cup 2005 is the 10th annual Championship Game of Major League Soccer and will match the league's Eastern and Western Conference Champions. The two contending teams will be determined on the weekend of November 5-6.

MLS Cup 2005 will include three days of game related activities (November 11-13) in and around America's most spectacular new sports stadium Pizza Hut Park in the northern Dallas suburb of Frisco. The game itself will be telecast live on ABC Sports at 2:30 PM on November 13, and will also be broadcast in over 120 foreign countries.
