MLS Cup 2005 random computerized ticket drawing assures 10 percent of capacity at Pizza Hut Park to be available for the general public

PIZZA HUT PARK Interim General Manager John Alper announced today that the MLS Cup 2005 primary plan to assure 2,000 tickets for the General Public was proceeding extremely well.

America's most spectacular new stadium PIZZA HUT PARK, which opened August 6, has a limited capacity of only 20,360 for MLS Cup 2005. This is a substantially smaller capacity than the average attendance for the first nine MLS Cup championship games (40,046). The Random Computerized Drawing ("RCD") is designed similar to programs used for both the Men's and Women's NCAA Final Four Basketball Tournaments and the NFL's Super Bowl.

In the case of the MLS Cup 2005, the plan will assure that the General Public will have access to at least 2,004 tickets. "To date we have fully paid entries and/or orders from 33 different states plus the District of Columbia plus 4 foreign countries (England, Germany, Mexico and Nigeria)", said Alper. "The breadth of these orders indicates the phenomenal national interest in the game and we anticipate that entries will dramatically increase in the 15 remaining days before the "RCD" deadline of Midnight, September 30."

Random Computerized Drawing entries are available in four basic ticket price ranges:

                                                              $60 Plaza Box
$50 Sideline
$40 Corner View
$30 End Line

There is no limit on the number of entries an individual may make in the Random Computerized Drawing, although each entry is limited to four tickets per order.

The orders are non-refundable except in the event that the MLS Cup is unable to fill the order at the conclusion of the September 30 entry period. All persons submitting an entry will be notified of the final status of their submittal by October 4 - 40 days before the event.

MLS Cup 2005 is the 10th annual Championship Game of Major League Soccer and will match the league's Eastern and Western Conference Champions with the competing teams to be determined on the weekend of November 5-6, 2005.

MLS Cup 2005 will include three days of activities (November 11 - 13) in and around America's most spectacular new sports stadium PIZZA HUT PARK in the northern Dallas suburb of Frisco. The game itself will be telecast live on ABC Sports at 2:30 PM on November 13.
