In conjunction with Major League Soccer's Season 10 celebration, fans have been given the opportunity to vote for the RadioShack MLS All-time Best XI. Fans can vote on-line at TheCrew.com or MLSNet.com.
Players on this list were either named Best XI in a particular season or selected to play in at least three All-Star games since the inaugural 1996 season. Fans may select up to one goalkeeper, three defenders, five midfielders and two forwards.
Of the 78 players that fans are available to vote for, 12 of the players played for The Crew at some point in their careers, including three current Crew members.
The Crew list is highlighted by former stars Brian McBride (forward), Stern John (forward) and Brad Friedel (goalkeeper), while the three current Crew players on the list are Robin Fraser (defender), Frankie Hejduk (defender) and Chris Henderson (midfielder).
The remaining six former Crew players available to vote for are Thomas Dooley (defender), John Harkes (midfielder), Brian Maisonneuve (midfielder), Alex Pineda Chacon (forward), Jeff Cunningham (forward) and Ante Razov (forward).
Voting concludes on the last day of the regular season, Oct. 16. Fan ballots account for 50 percent of the final vote total. Media and MLS coaches and general managers will also participate in the other half of the voting process. Fans may vote up to 10 times per day. The RadioShack MLS All-Time Best XI squad will be announced during the MLS Cup Playoffs.
