Letter to FC Dallas season ticket holders

Dear Season Seat Holder:

UPDATE ON YOUR FC DALLAS SEASON TICKETS AND PIZZA HUT PARK CONSTRUCTION

We are now just 12 days away from the opening of America's newest and finest soccer-specific stadium - Pizza Hut Park - when FC Dallas takes on the Metrostars August 6 at 7:30 PM. As an FC Dallas season seat holder, I wanted to make sure you were updated relative to the delivery of your season seats as well as the stadium construction progress as we count down the days prior to soccer history being made in Frisco:

  • Coach Colin Clarke, his staff and the playing squad have persevered through a difficult road schedule, and we are proud to say that your "Hoops" are, as of this writing, perched atop the Western Conference.

  • Your season ticket package will be sent out from our offices in Addison by July 29 via UPS Ground. If you don't receive your ticket packet by August 3, please call us immediately at 214-979-0303. We apologize for the late delivery, but it was essential that we included Pizza Hut Park designation on all materials.

  • Along with your season seats, this package will include: any pre-paid parking passes (if purchased); a 2005 media guide; your limited-edition season ticket holder gift; a membership card and information on Pizza Hut Park.

  • If you haven't already pre-purchased your parking passes, we urge you to do so prior to Wednesday, July 27, by calling your ticket account representative at 1-888-FCD-GOAL. With on-site parking limited, pre-paid parking is the best way for you to ensure that you have a guaranteed spot in one of our on-site lots.

Here is the current construction progress report to give you a feel for what you can expect on-site beginning August 6:

  • While much has been written about the status of construction, we estimate that stadium concessions and restrooms will be 80% operational. As with all amenities, we will be expanding capabilities as the season progresses. We are confident that we will have sufficient concession and restroom facilities for all fans.

  • If you feel so inclined, we suggest that you bring cash for your parking, food, and merchandise needs. We are planning on having ATM machines located throughout the stadium concourse and full credit card capabilities; however, there is a chance that some of these amenities might not be functional on opening night.

  • Parking Lot Access - we realize that many of you will be coming up from south of Frisco. You can access the majority of the parking lots off of Main Street by either turning north on World Cup Way for the Platinum and Gold ($12) lots, and North on Frisco Street for the Blue ($12) or Green ($8) lots. If you do not have a pre-purchased parking pass, you will still be able to park in any of these lots, except Platinum, by paying cash based on availability. Day-of-match availability is not guaranteed, and day-of-match rates are higher on average by $2 than pre-purchased passes. That's why we encourage you to pre-purchase your parking pass, which will guarantee you a spot and it is also more economical.

  • The remaining West (Red) and North (White) General parking lots will become available over the next several weeks and will be opened as they are completed. We have included a parking map for your reference along with this letter.

  • The west-side, three-story structure which houses The Stadium Club, Suites and Press Box will not be 100% complete, but it will be open and operational for opening night. All in-club loge and club seat holders as well as suite holders will have access to this facility.

  • Once you arrive at Pizza Hut Park, you will notice that the team office and facility buildings to the immediate northwest and northeast of the stadium are still under construction. These areas will be cordoned off so that construction can continue expeditiously.

  • The gates for the stadium will open at 5:30 PM - kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM. As with every first event at any new stadium, we would ask that you allow adequate travel time to arrive at Pizza Hut Park. We also ask that you please consider carpooling and ridesharing. Every fan will be just like you and most will not be sure where to park and how to get to certain areas of the stadium, etc. So, arrive early and enjoy the exciting atmosphere that comes with opening a new stadium. All completed parking lots will be open starting at 4:30 PM. We will be having the Stadium Dedication Ceremony prior to kick-off, which will begin at approximately 7:15 PM and we'd like you in the stadium to enjoy it.

Again, we have included a map of the facility for your reference.

As always, please contact us with any questions you may have. On behalf of everyone at Hunt Sports Group and FC Dallas, we THANK YOU for your tremendous support and for being a part of soccer history in North Texas.

    Best Regards,

  • Greg Elliott
    President & General Manager
