KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Wizards and Price Chopper are teaming up once again to present the third annual "Break the Record Night" at Arrowhead Stadium this Saturday, July 16th. The Wizards & Price Chopper will look to break the team's single-game attendance record when they host expansion Real Salt Lake for the first time ever.
All 43 area Price Chopper locations throughout the Kansas City metro area are offering a complimentary General Admission ticket to the Wizards vs. Real Salt Lake match on Saturday, July 16th with each purchase of qualifying in-store items. Customers who purchase any of the items listed below can take their store receipt to the Customer Service counter to redeem for a complimentary ticket courtesy of Price Chopper.
Each qualifying product purchase is good for one General Admission ticket for the MLS match-up between the Wizards and Real Salt Lake. General Admission seating is available in both Lower Level End lines (sections 106-114 East; 124-131 West) and Club Level End lines (sections 207-218 East; 230-241 West). A limited number of complimentary general admission tickets are still available at area Price Chopper stores.
The response for complimentary tickets has been very positive at all store locations and the Wizards are anticipating a large crowd. Fans are encouraged to come early to avoid long lines and ensure the best seating available.
The Wizards are offering fans the opportunity to upgrade their complimentary general admission tickets to Sideline Reserved seating in the Lower Level or Club Level for just $5. Fans wishing to upgrade their complimentary ticket to a Sideline Reserve seat for just $5 can do so at any Arrowhead Box Office window between now and July 16th.
Lines at the Box Office are likely prior to game time so fans wishing to upgrade their tickets are encouraged to do so prior to the day of the game. The Arrowhead Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT and from 9:00 a.m. to halftime on the day of a home game.
The first ever Price Chopper "Break the Record" promotion in 2003 drew the largest crowd in franchise history as 30,308 fans watched the Wizards take on the San Jose Earthquakes. Last year, 24,740 fans were in attendance for the second "Break the Record Night", which stands as the third largest crowd in team history.
