The 2004 season marks the first time in club history that Galaxy games carried over the air in English will be available to the Spanish-speaking population of Southern California. "By allowing them to watch more of our road games with the ability to listen in their native tongue, we are giving them an enhanced experience to keep up with us both home and away."

The Spanish audio heard by Hispanic viewers utilizing SAP during KCAL 9 telecasts in 2004 will be that from the Galaxy's Spanish language radio broadcasts on KMXE 830 AM. Veteran Los Angeles area personality Troy Santiago will handle the play-by-play and analyst duties.

"We have always worked with the Galaxy to help them reach out to the Hispanic community," said KCAL 9 and KCBS Vice President and Senior Executive Sports Producer Jeff Proctor. "This is one initiative we are extremely happy to be a part of."
