Meadowlands Hospital is helping to kick off the youth soccer season by sponsoring a Community Soccer Festival at Memorial Park in Rutherford from 9-11 am on Saturday, September 17.
This is a great opportunity for the young soccer players in the Rutherford Recreation soccer leagues to improve their game and have lots of fun. The Prize Wheel and other giveaways will be at the event, courtesy of the MetroMobile and Metro, the MetroStars mascot. The Sierra Mist Dribble, Pass and Score competition will be set up to give kids an opportunity to better their soccer skills. Meadowlands Hospital and MetroStars players have donated 100 tickets so these youngsters can catch a game watching the "Red and Black" at Giants Stadium.
The MetroStars, Meadowlands Hospital, and the Rutherford Recreation Department encourage kids of all ages to attend this event.
