Gaven: We will be victorious

Hey guys! Sorry I missed last week, but right now we are in the thick of things. This is the time of year we have all worked so hard for. The playoffs are the greatest part of the season. Although we are behind D.C. right now, I am confident we will be victorious on Saturday and win this series.

Last week, we did not get the result we wanted. I don't think we played bad, but there were certain key plays that we did not do as well as we should have. It's definitely disappointing, however we have a great group of guys here that remain optimistic.

We have always looked at this series as one big 180-minute game. Right now, in our minds, it's only halftime and we are only down two goals, which is an attainable feat.

Getting the first goal on Saturday will be huge. I have confidence we can do that and set the tone for the rest of the match. Everyone knows that this is it and no one is looking past this game. We are all focused and ready to turn this series around and beat D.C.

Take care and God Bless,

Eddie Gaven #24
