Galaxy individual tickets on sale Saturday

The Home Depot Center will host the InterLiga final.

The Los Angeles Galaxy are one of the first MLS teams to offer individual game tickets for the 2005 season, as tickets for the club's matches at The Home Depot Center go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET).

The Galaxy's slate of 16 regular-season home matches includes several marquee match-ups, including back-to-back matches against expansion clubs Real Salt Lake and Club Deportivo Chivas USA, the Galaxy's local rival, on April 9 and 23. Defending MLS Cup Champions D.C. United will pay a visit to the HDC on Saturday, July 23, and the Galaxy's Northern California foes, the San Jose Earthquakes, will make two trips to the Southland.

Only two of the Galaxy's home matches this season will not be played on a weekend. The Galaxy will host the New England Revolution on Monday, July 4, and the Columbus Crew on Wednesday, May 25.

"We are especially pleased with our slate of games at The Home Depot Center for the 2005 campaign," said Los Angeles Galaxy President and General Manager Doug Hamilton. "Our fans will have plenty of exciting games to watch when they come out and join the Galaxy for our tenth season celebration."

For the moment, individual tickets for the inaugural Clásico Angelino between the Galaxy and Chivas USA (with the exception of field-side seats) are not on sale. Tickets for that game will go on sale at a date to be determined, but fans can now purchase tickets for the landmark match through the Galaxy's special Celebration Pack, which also includes a ticket for the home opener against Real Salt Lake for as low as $37.

Those looking to order tickets can do so beginning Saturday morning through TicketMaster via phone at 213-480-3232 or 714-740-2000; and at TicketMaster outlets: Wherehouse Music, Ritmo Latino, Tu Musica, Robinsons May and Tower Records or by logging on to www.ticketmaster.com.
