Galaxy announce relaunch Web site

The Los Angeles Galaxy announced Wednesday that the club's official website www.lagalaxy.com, has been re-launched. The site is one of eight team sites on the newly created MLSNet.com Internet Network, a cooperative effort between Major League Soccer and Sports on Earth, LLC.


"We are excited about joining the MLSnet.com Internet Network," said Galaxy Vice President of Marketing & Communications Whit Haskel. "Our fans will benefit greatly from a host of new features that will provide more immediate and in-depth access to our club."


In addition to the tools the that Galaxy fans previously used to follow their favorite team, visitors to the new www.lagalaxy.com will find more features and increased ease in navigating the many sections of the site. Additionally, the site will give fans access to video and audio highlights from every Galaxy game.


The MLSnet.com Internet Network made its debut with the re-launch of MLSNet.com to kick-off the 2004 Major League Soccer season in April. The eight MLS teams whose sites are also a part of the network are the Galaxy, Chicago Fire, Columbus Crew, Dallas Burn, D.C. United, Kansas City Wizards, MetroStars and the San Jose Earthquakes.


Through their partnership with MLS, Sports on Earth will provide original editorial content, audio and video highlights, design and technical support as well as marketing and sales support to MLS and each of the eight clubs whose sites is a part of the network.
