Future uncertain for Dallas' Kreis

19 as a starter -- registering 12 points on five goals and two assists, modest statistics for the prolific marksman.

The Burn original was widely reported to have not been happy about his role as a substitute in head coach Colin Clarke's side. Speedy frontrunners Eddie Johnson (12 goals, 27 points) and Toni Nhleko (six goals and 14 points) both finished ahead of Kreis in scoring. Johnson was tied for the league lead in goals while Nhleko's production percentage was higher than that of Kreis, the South African making 23 appearances including 13 as a starter.

With Dallas missing the playoffs for the second consecutive season, the club is likely to undergo yet another offseason overhaul. Clarke said that each player's performance is to be scrutinized in the very near future.

"We will be meeting with all the players in the next few days," said Clarke. "[The return of Kreis] is up for discussion."
