The five best goals of the 2005 Major League Soccer season - as voted by the fans on the League's official website, www.MLSnet.com - are finalists for the 2005 Sierra Mist Goal of the Year. The original ballot of 40 top goals was reduced to ten in the first round of voting, and then to the top five through voting which ended this morning. From Tuesday, November 1 until Monday, November 7, fans can vote for the 2005 Sierra Mist Goal of the Year from the following five finalists:
Clint Dempsey - New England Revolution at Chicago Fire on April 27

Bicycle kick home from the near the penalty spot.
Jason Kreis - Real Salt Lake vs. Kansas City Wizards on August 13

Powerful freekick from 25 yards out that bent around the right side of the wall and hooked into the upper corner.
1. October 19-25 - Voting for top 10 goals from original 40 nominees
2. October 25-November 1 - Voting for top five goals
3. November 1-November 7 - Voting for Sierra Mist Goal of the Year from the top five goals
The Sierra Mist Goal of the Year will be announced on November 11, 2005.
