FC Dallas and 990 AM Texas Talk Radio announce three-year agreement

Dallas, Texas - FC Dallas President and General Manager Greg Elliott announced today that the soccer club has reached a three-year agreement with 990 AM Texas Talk Radio (KMSR - Main Street Radio) for coverage of FC Dallas matches beginning with the 2005 season. No further terms of the deal were disclosed. This will be the first time in the organization's history that the club will broadcast all home and road matches on English radio.

"This is an historic day for our organization as this marks the first time we will have all of our matches, both home and away, on English language radio in Dallas," said Elliott. "We are delighted to have this partnership with 990 AM Texas Talk Radio and believe that this will greatly benefit the fans of FC Dallas."

Along with broadcasting all home and road regular season FC Dallas matches, 990 AM Texas Talk Radio will include a 30-minute pre-match show and a 30-minute post-match show for each match. Furthermore, every Thursday night from 6 - 7 p.m. 990 AM Texas Talk Radio will host an hour-long FC Dallas soccer show. In addition, KMSR will broadcast all applicable FC Dallas Town Hall Meetings and press conferences live as part of this agreement.

"Everyone here at 990 AM Texas Talk Radio is extremely excited about the partnership with a prestigious organization such as FC Dallas," said KMSR Majority Owner Dave Schum. "It is only fitting that FC Dallas and 990 AM Texas Talk Radio, two growing organizations, have come together to bring FC Dallas to the airwaves of North Texas."

990 Texas Talk Radio is the new home of former KRLD and Texas State Network Sports Director Allan Stanglin who moved to Texas Talk Radio to host a LIVE-LOCAL & LIVELY sports call-in program weekdays from 6 - 8 p.m.

"We're excited to be joining FC Dallas as they begin this new chapter," said Stanglin. "We plan to add to the experience by bringing game-day enthusiasm and excitement to our listeners in the play-by-play and in the day-to-day keeping up with the team."
