FC Dallas acquires fourth round selection in 2007 from Real Salt Lake in exchange for defender Brian Dunseth

Dallas, Texas - FC Dallas President and General Manager Greg Elliott announced today that the Major League Soccer club has acquired a fourth round selection in 2007 from Real Salt Lake in exchange for the rights to defender Brian Dunseth.


Dunseth, 27, played for Bodenf SK in Sweden last season after playing the previous seven seasons in Major League Soccer. The Upland, CA native who played his college soccer at Cal-State Fullerton, appeared in MLS with the New England Revolution (1997-2001), the Miami Fusion (2001), the Columbus Crew (2002-2003) and the Dallas Burn (2003). In nine matches with the Burn, Dunseth recorded one goal and one assist for three points. Over his MLS career, he has appeared in 147 matches and has tallied 12 points (3-6=12).
