MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER QUOTE SHEET

SATURDAY, MAY 7, 2005 - KANSAS CITY WIZARDS 3, FC DALLAS 3
KANSAS CITY WIZARDS HEAD COACH BOB GANSLER

On the game:
"It was exciting for the fans, but that doesn't mean it was good for us. As we mentioned last week, we tried to fix one leak and something else springs up. This week we came out and scored some goals again and couldn't hold it. We are good enough to do all these bits and pieces but it is about playing a game. It is not about shutting out people, it's not about scoring goals, it's about winning games. We have the wherewithal with this team to do that, but we haven't done it. We need to keep working."

KANSAS CITY WIZARDS GOALKEEPER BO OSHONIYI

On the game:
"I have to give the backline credit because they really limited it to just three goals. But we've got to clean it up and find a way to get results at home. When we are up 3-1, we shouldn't need a fourth goal, three goals should be a good enough scoreline to win. We just have to sort it out and move forward from here."

On where the defensive problems are coming from:
"I think it is all 11 guys. I don't think it's just one person, it's a collective thing. We are not getting the results we need. It is sad to say, but at least we didn't lose. But even still, we feel like we did."

FC DALLAS HEAD COACH COLIN CLARKE

On the game:
"It was pretty end to end. I thought we had the better first half. We had some good opportunities and could have been ahead at halftime. Then we came out and had a five- or six-minute spell where we were horrible and conceded two goals. Full credit to the boys to come back and could have won it."

FC DALLAS MIDFIELDER RONNIE O'BRIEN

On his first-half mistakes, and his change at halftime:
"Honestly I would have beat myself senseless over it when I was younger and it wouldn't even have been worth me coming out in the second half. But now I am older and I know my game well. I was actually smiling at halftime, thinking that I would have taken myself off after 20 minutes, but since I am still on the field I might as well pick it up and luckily enough I had a good second half."

On his header goal:
"I am afraid to hurt this old head of mine so I don't normally get in the box. Bobby had all the pace on it and all I had to do was redirect it and got it past the 'keeper and in the top corner."

On getting a point on the road:
"It is a brick in the wall for us this year, we have to know that we can come back from 3-1 with 20 minutes to go. We have to prove to us that we can do this, and Kansas City had our (rears) here last year, so this is a big deal to us. Hopfully we can build on it."
