CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA, together with United Farm Workers (UFW) and Grammy-winning artists Los Tigres del Norte, will be holding a press conference this Thursday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. PT to officially present 'La Celebración del Pueblo' (Celebration of the People). This historic event, to be held at The Home Depot Center on October 16 at 1:00 p.m. PT, will feature Chivas USA vs. MetroStars in the Red-and-White's final 2005 MLS regular-season game, followed by an exclusive postgame performance by the kings of Mexican regional music, Los Tigres del Norte. A percentage of the proceeds from the event will go to the United Farm Workers (UFW), the laborers' rights organization founded in 1962 by the late César Chávez.
