CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA announced today that it has re-signed defender Alfonso Loera. The 26-year-old native of Ensenada, Baja California Norte, Mexico, was released by Chivas USA on Monday, and after clearing waivers, was re-signed by the Red-and-White.
A former standout for Club Deportivo Guadalajara, Loera has played nine regular-season games for Chivas USA in 2005 (all starts), logging 800 minutes. He also played two Reserve Division games for Chivas USA (both starts), logging 180 minutes.
