Chivas USA to launch weekly television program, 'Somos Chivas USA'

CARSON, Calif. - Chivas USA will be launching its first weekly television program, 'Somos Chivas USA' ('We are Chivas USA') this Saturday, January 7. The show will be broadcast starting at 12:30 p.m. PT on Spanish-language station KAZA Azteca 54. The program will be filmed on location throughout Southern California hosted by KAZA Azteca 54's talent, Ramón Díaz, with the collaboration of reporters Saul Rodriguez and Mario Valadez.


'Somos Chivas USA' will be broadcast each and every Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. PT. The 30-minute program will give Chivas USA fans and passionate soccer fans in general an intimate look at Chivas USA as it embarks on its second season in Major League Soccer. The program will also include interviews with players and coaching staff, special guest appearances, ChivaGirls, special reports as well as interaction with Chivas USA fans from across Southern California, the United States and beyond.


Chivas USA will make its 2006 MLS debut on Sunday April 2, at The Home Depot Center, where it will face Real Salt Lake.
