LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Club Deportivo Chivas USA launched on Wednesday ChivaBono, a season ticket package that offers Chivas fans and Southern California soccer aficionados the opportunity to experience all the passion and excitement of the Mexican- owned Major League Soccer team's inaugural season at The Home Depot Center at a great value. ChivaBonos start at just $16 per game. Fans will have a first chance to visit The Home Depot Center and select seats this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"We are thrilled to be able to introduce ChivaBono to the Los Angeles sports community," said Whit Haskel, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Club Deportivo Chivas USA. "Our inaugural season will fill The Home Depot Center with a uniquely Mexican soccer atmosphere, something we feel will be truly compelling to fans devoted to Chivas and our sport. We look forward to making more announcements at a future date about our unique game-day experience."

Fans will have the chance to meet Chivas USA players periodically throughout the day Sunday as the players join together in Los Angeles before departing Monday for two weeks' training in Guadalajara. On hand Sunday will be Arturo Torres, Orlando Perez, Ezra Hendrickson, Francisco Gomez, Antonio de la Torre, Matt Taylor, Jamil Walker and Thaigo Martins, all selected by CD Chivas USA earlier this month in the MLS Expansion Draft, as well as coaches Thomas Rongen and Javier "Zully" Ledesma. In addition, fans who purchase their ChivaBono at Sunday's event will receive, free of charge, an official Club Deportivo Chivas USA supporters' scarf.

Through ChivaBono, Club Deportivo Chivas USA's six sections - each named in Spanish - in the 27,000-seat Home Depot Center will offer tickets from $16 to $40 per game. The package includes 16 regular-season games and three bonus matches for a total of 19 games. Season ticket holders save up to 28 percent over individual game prices.

The "Zona Norte" and "Zona Sur" sections offer the best-priced seats in the house ($16 per game), followed by sections "Terraza" ($20), "Reservado" ($25), "Especial" ($30), and the innovative "Empresarial" package ($40), in which ChivaBono members interested in Hispanic-oriented commerce will be listed in a directory of businesspersons and will have the chance to participate in regular workshops dealing with topics of interest to the Latino business community.

In addition to their own seat at every game, all ChivaBono holders will enjoy benefits such as complimentary membership in the team's ChivaSocio club and all its exclusive benefits; unique raffles each game, including a game-worn jersey; a ticket exchange program for select games; flexible payment plan options; invitation to unique team events for ChivaBono members; special entry to The Home Depot Center on game days; guaranteed in-stadium giveaways, and preference for buying playoff tickets.

The Home Depot Center is located at 18400 Avalon Boulevard, between Victoria Street and University Drive, in the city of Carson, California.
