Burn 2, Galaxy 0 -- quote sheet

it's all about repetition; it's all about practice makes perfect. I know it's a cliché, but if you do what you do all week in training in the game, it will make your life simpler. Including myself, we just didn't have enough energy. Just look out on the field today, they we were everywhere and we were nowhere."

On the blocked shot:
"I can't take any credit for that. It was my man who pushed the ball beside Hartman. It just makes sense; you want to back up your 'keeper like he backs you up all day. I've been blessed all year to be in the right place at the right time several times."

On the match:
"It seems like we were trying to get into a rhythm at the beginning, then the first goal comes and we sort of took a step back. It took us a while again to get a handle on the game, to step up and press again and get opportunities and then the second goal comes. It really hurt us and really put us in a hole. In the second half, they sat back and made it very difficult, really sat back and made it difficult to create space. They got an important result tonight, now it's up to us to do our part."

On his chance from Cobi Jones:
"Cory Gibbs is a pretty quick guy. He's pretty fast, so I had to be very smart about where I made my runs and found my space. I tired to take him away and create space in front of me and Cobi played a pretty good ball. I tired to jam it in at the near post as the goalkeeper was sliding to other side, but it just went over."
