Bradley, Sakiewicz to participate in live online chats

SECAUCUS, N.J. - The MetroStars will be conducting two online chat sessions, one with President & General Manager Nick Sakiewicz and one with Head Coach Bob Bradley in the upcoming weeks. Sakiewicz will be available on December 15, at 2:00 p.m. ET while Bradley will be online December 22, also at 2:00 p.m. ET. Both sessions can be accessed by logging onto www.MetroStars.com or www.MLSnet.com.


Initial questions can be submitted to sweeper@mlsnet.com beginning today with the subject line "Questions for Nick Sakiewicz" or "Questions for Bob Bradley." Questions submitted ahead of time will be interspersed with questions received during the online chat. Queries can also be sent to Bradley and Sakiewicz through the AOL Instant Messenger screen-name MLSnetChat while the chat is ongoing.


Bradley and Sakiewicz will be available for up to one hour to field inquiries regarding the MetroStars stadium project, the upcoming SuperDraft, and the upcoming 2005 MLS season.


Nick Sakiewicz oversees all soccer and business operations for the MetroStars and is entering his ninth season with Major League Soccer and his fifth with the MetroStars. The two-time MLS Executive of the year has been involved with numerous off-season activities such as negotiations for a new MetroStars stadium and the acquisition of veteran defender Jeff Agoos from San Jose.


Bob Bradley enters his third season with the MetroStars, and is known as one of the most successful coaches in MLS history. He boasts a 104-76-31 career record and one MLS Cup Championship which came with the Chicago Fire in 1998. Since coming to the MetroStars after the 2002 season, Bradley has lead the "Red and Black" to a 22-22-16 record and two straight MLS Cup Playoff appearances.
