The Blackout continues!

WASHINGTON, D.C. - D.C. United will host the New England Revolution in the Eastern Conference Championship Game at RFK Stadium on Saturday, November 6th at 7:00 p.m. The Black-and-Red advanced to the conference final after dispatching of the MetroStars 4-0 in their two-game aggregate goal conference semifinal series. New England qualified for the match by upsetting the Columbus Crew 2-1 in their pairing. Individual tickets for the game will be on sale beginning tomorrow through all TicketMaster outlets, Charge by Phone and dcunited.com.

D.C. United enters the conference final as the hottest club in Major League Soccer. The Black-and-Red have won five straight games, seven of their last eight League matches and produced their best regular season record since 1999. Despite exiting the 2003 MLS Cup playoffs in the first round, D.C. United has a storied playoff past. The club played in the MLS Cup Finals four consecutive seasons dating from 1996-1999. United earned MLS Cups in that span, taking home the trophy in 1996, 1997 and 1999.


The Eastern and Western Conference Champions will meet at the Home Depot Center on November 14th to play for the 2004 MLS Cup.
