2005 MLS Cup and U.S. Open Cup Champion L.A. Galaxy and The Home Depot Center to serve Thanksgiving meal to community

WHAT:
The Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation and The Home Depot Center Charitable Foundation, along with the support of several corporate sponsors, will serve a warm holiday meal the week of Thanksgiving to more than 200 children and families from a wide variety of community-based groups from throughout Southern California at the third annual "Foundations' Feast" at The Home Depot Center. Players from the 2005 MLS Cup and U.S. Open Cup Champion L.A. Galaxy players will be on-hand to serve meals and sign autographs. Galaxy staff, Home Depot Center and David Beckham Academy staff will also be volunteering.

  • Coca-Cola is donating an assortment of cold beverages.

  • Ken's Ice Cream, a local Carson small business and Home Depot Center neighbor, is providing ice cream dessert.

  • See's Candies will provide candy for the Galaxy goodie bags each child will receive upon departure from the event.

  • Levy Restaurants, Home Depot Center concessions operator, will be cooking all the turkeys, hams and other traditional Thanksgiving side dishes, including mashed potatoes and gravy, seasonal vegetables and cranberry sauce.
