New York Red Bulls, who were the first team in MLS to clinch a playoff spot on Sept. 20, capped their magical 2015 season with the Supporters' Shield for the best record in MLS after their 2-1 victory in Chicago on #DecisionDay.

No. 1, East – 60 PTS

Playoff spot clinched / KO Round Bye

Crew SC, who clinched a playoff spot on Oct. 17, snatched second place in the East from D.C. United and secure a Knockout Round bye. They will play the higher remaining seed from the East Knockout Round matches beginning next weekend.

No. 2, East – 53 PTS

Playoff spot clinched

Montreal's #DecisionDay win over their rivals Toronto FC means they get to host the Knockout Round match between the two teams on Thursday night at 7 pm ET (TV: UniMás in USA, TSN1/4/5 & RDS1 in Canada). The Impact had previously clinched their postseason berth on Oct. 17.

Playoff spot clinched

D.C. United's 5-0 loss to Crew SC on #DecisionDay drops them to 4th place in the East. They will host the No. 5-seed New England Revolution in a Knockout Round match on Wednesday, Oct. 28 (TV: UniMás in USA, TSN2 & RDS2 in Canada). DC were among the first to book a spot in the postseason on Oct. 2.

The Revs finally clinched their MLS Cup Playoff spot on #DecisionDay with a convincing 3-1 win over New York City FC. The win sets them up for a trip to RFK Stadium for a single-elimination Knockout Round match against D.C. United on Wednesday night (TV: UniMás in USA, TSN2 & RDS2 in Canada).

No. 5, East – 50 PTS

Playoff spot clinched

Toronto FC clinched a playoff spot on Oct. 14. But the 2-1 loss to Didier Drogba and Montreal on #DecisionDay means they will hit the road for their first-ever MLS Cup Playoff match. They'll be back in Montreal for Thursday's Knockout Round match at 7 pm ET (TV: UniMás in USA, TSN1/4/5 & RDS1 in Canada).

Orlando City's playoff comeback fell just short. Their 1-0 road loss to Philly was enough to eliminate them. But even if they had won that match, New England's victory vs. NYCFC was enough to give the final spot in the East to the Revs.

NYCFC were eliminated from playoff contention on Oct. 10.

Playoff spot clinched / KO Round Bye

FC  Dallas clinched the West's first playoff spot on Oct. 4, and finish in first place in the West which comes with a Knockout Round bye. Despite defeating the San Jose Earthquakes on the final day of the regular season, FC Dallas fell short of the Supporters' Shield on goal differential.

The Vancouver Whitecaps clinched a playoff spot on Oct. 8 but they had to wait until #DecisionDay to secure the No. 2 seed, which guarantees a bye and direct passage to the Western Conference Semifinals.

The total wins tiebreaker was the only thing that kept the Timbers from clinching the No. 2 seed in the West and a bye. They'll settle for the the second-best option: a Knockout Round match at home on Thursday night against Sporting KC (10 pm ET, on UniMas in USA and TSN1/4/5 in Canada).

The Seattle Sounders' 3-1 #DecisionDay win over Real Salt Lake not only got them into the playoffs, but it also earned them a home Knockout Round match on Wednesday night against long-time playoff nemesis LA Galaxy (10 pm ET, UniMas in USA, TSN2 and RDS2 in Canada).

The LA Galaxy clinched a playoff spot on Oct. 4 but they since dropped to the No. 5 seed after earning only one victory in their last seven matches to end the season. They'll have to settle for a trip to Seattle on Wednesday night (10 pm ET, UniMas in USA, TSN2 and RDS2 in Canada).

Playoff spot clinched

Sporting KC got the win they needed on #DecisionDay to clinch a berth in the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs. But as the No. 6 seed, they'll need to head on the road to take on the Portland Timbers in a single-elimination Knockout Round match (10 pm ET, UniMas in USA, TSN1/4/5 in Canada)

San Jose's loss to FC Dallas condemned them to postseason elimination. Although even a victory wouldn't have been enough.
