Career Summary

Retired on September 13, 2019.

A steady right back, Beltran has been a stalwart for RSL since joining the club ahead of the 2008 season. Beltran is disciplined, tactically savvy and solid in defending in 1-v-1 situations. He isn’t the type of player to frequently fly up the wing, but he does consistently help facilitate the RSL attack from his spot on the back line.

INTERNATIONAL: Beltran has been an occasional player on the senior national team, playing one game for the US in their run to the 2013 Gold Cup title and occasionally getting called in for camps and friendlies under Jurgen Klinsmann. He had plenty of experience as a youth international, and started all five games for the US at the 2007 Under-20 World Cup.

COLLEGE: Beltran played three seasons of college soccer, starting his career at St. John’s University before transferring to UCLA in 2006 for his sophomore and junior seasons. He earned All-Pact 10 first-team honors in his junior year in 2007.
