Seth Owusu

Chivas USA brought defender Seth Owusu, a versatile young player with experience on the Ghanaian National Team, into the team on loan prior to the 2011 season. A tall, strong defender who plays both on the left side and centrally, Owusu was born on Sept. 20, 1990 in Accra, Ghana.

Beginning his career with Ghanaian Second Division club FC Medeama in 2007-08, Owusu then joined First Division clubs Real Tarkwa United (2008-09) and FC Medeama (2009-10). Currently, Owusu plays with Medeama SC in the Glo Premier League in Ghana. He also has experience on the Ghana U-17, U-21 and full national team.
