Ronny Mendoza

Ronny Santos Mendoza is a young but experienced centerback, who has seen action in 29 matches for Manta FC in the Ecuadorean first division. His 6-foot-4 physique will draw comparisons to LA Galaxy defender Omar Gonzalez.

Mendoza was formed in the Manta FC youth ranks since 2011 (Under-16 and Under-18), becoming a regular for the senior team in 2013. Nicknamed "Pichincha" for the province in Ecuador where he was born.

According to a recent report, he extended his contract with Manta FC through Dec. 2018.

ECUADOREAN NATIONAL TEAM: Featured for the Under-20 side in the 2013 South American championships.
