What Scouts Say: "Holding central midfielder. Conservative, stay-at-home guy who was clean with the ball, good possession and rarely gave it away ... Could connect passes ... He runs well and has tremendous endurance. Better endurance than he does speed ... Can play at the same pace for 90 minutes ... Physically fit athlete and can run for days ... Played as a central midfielder in a 4-3-3 ... He was one of two more defensive midfielders in the three-man midfield ... Average pace kid ... Good role player ... He may have attacking qualities but he didn't have to make a lot of runs forward since they had a good attacking corps ... There were times he broke through and you say "wow" and other times he gets caught on the ball ... He can cover a lot of ground in the midfield ... He's Mexican and may play in Mexico."
