A former U.S. U-20 World Cup player, forward Peri Marosevic was signed by Toronto FC on July 27 from his former club, FC Dallas.

Marosevic was selected fifth overall in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft after an U.S. collegiate career that saw him lead the Wolverines in goal scoring in two of the three seasons he attended the University of Michigan. Marosevic worked through the U.S. junior ranks as members of the U-17, U-18 and U-20 squads.

In 2009, the Bosnia and Herzegovina-born Marosevic represented the United States at the U-20 World Cup. He was capped 14 times by the American U-20 squad, scoring five goals.
