After spending eight years with the Fire, Nyarko joined D.C. United prior to the 2016 season. He had a career resurgence under Ben Olsen, producing four goals and eight assists. The speedy winger had suffered from injuries over his last two seasons with Fire. His best two seasons came in 2010 and 2011 when he had nine and ten assists, respectively. When he's at his best, Nyarko utilizes his agility to create space on the wing and whip in precision crosses.

INTERNATIONAL: Called up by the Ghanian national team in February 2012. Made his international debut vs. Chile on February 29, 2012.

COLLEGE: In only 57 matches, ranks third all-time in goals (31) and assists (24) and fourth in points (86) at Virginia Tech. MAC Hermann Trophy Runner-up in 2007.
