What Scouts Say: "Smaller guy, gets around the field, quick ... Not sure he could play anywhere but in the middle of the field."

College (Cornell): As a Senior (2012)
One of Cornell’s captains, Nissl moved to the central midfield as a senior and had the best scoring season of his career. With eight total assists, Nissl distributed the ball expertly and helped everyone else score. He also earned a goal of his own against Colgate on Oct. 9. As a Junior (2011)

As a Sophomore (2010)

As a Freshman (2009)

Nissl provided pace and skill on the wing for the Big Red as it began employing head coach Jaro Zawislan's high-pressure defensive system. Nissl provided more than just intensity on the wing, however, as the freshman scored a goal and added an assist for three points on the year. He made his first career start in the season's second game on Sept. 7 against Hartwick, and picked up his first career point with a goal in the loss to nationally ranked Monmouth on Sept. 18, one of only 10 goals surrendered on the season by one of the nation's stingiest defenses. He then picked up an assist in the 4-3 loss to Yale on Oct. 17.
