Ermin Bicakcic helped earn Eintracht Braunschweig promotion to the Bundesliga in 2012-13, starting 33 games. He has held on to his starting spot at centerback and has scored a goal in 2013-14.

First appearing for the national team in 2013, Bicakcic scored a goal against Slovakia during World Cup qualifying.

Bicakcic started his professional career with Stuttgart, making only appearance for the senior team. In 2012 he joined Eintracht Braunschweig.
