Career Summary

College soccer's highest scoring forward in 2012. Lethal finisher at Elon who earned Hermann Trophy consideration as a senior.

What Scouts Say: "Goal scorer and unbelievable finisher. Didn't need too many opportunities to finish … Has rare ability around goal. Great composure. Very dangerous. Good in front of goal ... Scores on scraps and makes stuff happen on his own ... Strong and athletic. Good speed … Made the difference in college … Struggles with his back to goal. Not going to hold the ball up. Not a target guy per se ... Thinking man's forward as opposed to an athletic forward ... Combination play may be a question .... Can be enigmatic ... Not necessarily really fast, not really strong, but athletic enough and strong enough to make it work ... His forte is finding space to separate himself from defenders to create opportunities to score. Able to drift off defenders and find space ... Junior year didn't have a great year [knee injury] because he wasn't fit and sharp, but this year he did well and was more relaxed ... Made big improvement with fitness, work rate and movement off ball compared to first three years ... Questions about his fitness and work rate over long period of time. Not a 90-minute guy ... Certainly worth drafting ... Better as a second forward and could be pretty good with three up front ... Is he going to be strong enough to hold up against certain MLS defenders and fast enough to get behind them? ... Could become a great 70th minute sub in MLS."
