2010: Returned to the MLS in March when KC signed him. Diop started seven games and played in 17 total. He managed five goals and one assist. His five goals came in two games; two in his first start for the club on August 21, and a hat trick in the season finale on October 23. Also appeared as a late second half substitute in U.S. Open Cup play-in match against Colorado.
2002: Became the first player signed by the MetroStars directly from MetroBlack. Made four appearances for MetroStars in MLS play.
2001: Joined MetroBlack, the reserve team of the MetroStars.
2008-2009: Returned to New York City, scoring 19 goals and adding 10 assists in 25 games for FDR United.
2007-2008: Made 20 appearances, scoring three goals and adding seven assists for FC Tiligul-Tiras Tiraspol in the Moldovan First Division, playing under current Sporting Kansas City Assistant Coach Octavio Zambrano.
2005-2006: Made four appearances for Deportivo Pereira in Colombia.
2002-2005: Scored 62 goals in 76 appearances for ASC Manhattan, FDR United, and the Lebanon Stars - all members of New York City's various top-level amateur leagues.
1999-2000: Moved to ASC Jeanne D'Arc in Dakar, scoring 12 goals and adding 7 assists in one season before moving to join the then-MetroStars in Major League Soccer.
1997-1999: Began his career at US Rail in Thiès, Senegal, scoring 15 goals in 25 appearances.
