Kunga, a 22-year old forward from Atlanta, Ga., spent the 2020 season on loan with Phoenix Rising in the USL Championship where he scored once in nine appearances. He previously spent the 2019 season on loan with Memphis 901 and competed for Atlanta United 2.
OUTSIDE MLS: Had one goal in nine appearances on loan with Phoenix Rising in the USL Championship in 2020 after one goal and two assists in 24 appearances for Memphis 901 in a loan stint in 2019. He also had five goals in 33 appearances for Atlanta United 2 over the course of two seasons. Kunga made two appearances for the Charleston Battery in 2017.
INTERNATIONAL: He was called up to play with the United States National Team in the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He made four appearances and scored one goal to help lead the team to the quarterfinals where they lost to eventual runners-up Venezuela.
