A left back that fits the profile of the modern fullback, Ward showed that he can handle both sides of the ball well enough to emerge as a standout defender in the 2018 college season. He should provide depth for United in 2019.
COLLEGE: Ward spent three years at Creighton University after transferring from Hastings College his freshman year. In his first season at Hastings University, Ward scored two goals and recorded five assists on the way to becoming a 2015 USC Second team NAIA All-American. At Creighton University, Ward scored two goals and recorded six assists in 47 appearances with the Bluejays. In 2018, the versatile defender earned a USC First Team All-East Region selection and was First Team All-Big East Conference after scoring two goals and recording four assists.
