The 2019 Campeones Cup will take place on Wednesday, August 14, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The 2018 MLS Cup champions Atlanta United will host the Liga MX champion in the second installment of the event. Atlanta could face Club America (which captured the Liga MX Apertura title) or the future Liga MX Clausura champion (which will be crowned in May). Those two Mexican sides will go head-to-head in a single match to determine the Liga MX winner bound for the 2019 Campeones Cup. Liga MX's Tigres UANL won the inaugural Campeones Cup against 2017 MLS Cup winners Toronto FC.
Ticket information, broadcast information and more will be available in the coming months.
