2011 Supporters Summit Event Schedule

The Angel City Brigade, in collaboration with MLS and the LA Galaxy, is pleased to share the following 2011 Supporters Summit updates.  The event will take place in Los Angeles, CA over the MLS Cup 2011 weekend.

Event Schedule

Below is the tentative schedule of events that will be updated as additional details are confirmed:

  • Friday, November 18th
    • 8:00pm – 1:00am:  Supporters Meet & Greet
      Location:  Torrance Marriott, Terrace Ballroom
  • Saturday, November 19th
    • 1:00pm – 2:30pm:  Supporters Soccer Challenge
      Location: Home Depot Center, Field 5
    • 9:00pm – 2:00am: Supporters Night Out
      Location: St. Rocke, Hermosa Beach (Adults 21 and over only)
  • Sunday, November 20th
    • 11:00am – 1:00pm:  Supporters Summit with MLS Commissioner Don Garber
      Location: Home Depot Center

    • 2:30pm – 5:30pm: MLS Cup SupporterFest
    • 6:00pm – 8:30pm: MLS Cup 2011
      Location:  Home Depot Center


The Torrance Marriott South Bay (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/laxtr-torrance-marriott-south-bay/) will serve as the host hotel for the Summit.  Supporters can secure rooms at the discounted group rate of $95.00 (plus tax) for single or double rooms by using the group code “MLSMLSA.”  Reservations can be made utilizing the hotel weblink (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/laxtr-torrance-marriott-south-bay/?toDate=11/21/11&groupCode=MLSMLSA&fromDate=11/18/11&app=resvlink) or by calling Marriott reservations at the toll free number 1-800-228-9290.

To secure the group rate, reservations must be made by Friday, November 4th.

Air Travel

Supporters are encouraged to arrive on Friday (11/18) and depart on Monday (11/21).  In an effort to make air travel easier and more affordable, American Airlines created a program specifically for the Supporters Summit.  This program provides a 5% discount on American Airlines flights into Los Angeles (LAX, SNA, ONT, and BUR airports).

To book discounted tickets, go online to aa.com and use the MLS CUP promo code 48N1BN to secure a 5% discount for travel between November 15th and 28th.  Those without internet access should call 800-433-1790 (6am-12mid CST) for further assistance.

Ground Transportation
