According to a report in The San Diego Union-Tribune, the US national team has scheduled another match in what is an increasingly busy summer.
The newspaper says that Jurgen Klinsmann's squad will play Guatemala on Friday, July 5, at Qualcomm Stadium in preparation for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The USA kick off the group stage of the Gold Cup against Belize on July 9 in Portland.

U.S. Soccer declined comment on the story due to the federation's policy of discussing matches only when contracts are finalized. But the U-T says that "an official announcement of the July 5 game is expected next week."
The last time the USMNT played at Qualcomm was on March 13, 1999, when the Americans lost to Mexico 2-1 in front of 50,324 fans. In three all-time matches at the stadium, the USA are yet to win a game (loss to Peru in 1997 and tie with Paraguay in 1998).
The USMNT schedule this summer includes two friendlies vs. European opponents (Belgium, Germany) as well as three World Cup qualifiers in June. That is followed by the San Diego friendly when confirmed and the 2013 Gold Cup in July.
