American Exports: Rusin back in training for HB Køge

AMSTERDAM — Injured HB Køge defender Brad Rusin is hoping to rejoin full training this week, but the club is not yet certain when he can get back in the game.

The SAS Liga cellar-dwellers suffered a bit of bad luck when the Indiana native went down with a groin injury during an international week friendly.

"We don't know yet whether he will be able to play in the next game," Køge spokesman Per Rud told MLSsoccer.com on Monday. "He told me yesterday that it was getting better and that he expected to be back in training this week."

Rusin, who arrived in Denmark this summer from the Carolina Railhawks, has scored twice in five league appaearances for Køge. With just one win in nine games, the team heads out on the road Sunday to face Conor O'Brien and SønderjyskE.
