TORONTO FC 1, NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION 1

TORONTO FC HEAD COACH JOHN CARVER

On the game:
"I thought we deserved to get something more although we could have lost it near the end. You know Sutz (Sutton) pulled off a great save, Julius James pulls off a fantastic block, he does that every day in training so when he did it tonight I was pleased because that is as good as a goal what he did. I thought it was a good game, I thought the first half we gave away an unbelievable sloppy goal we've got three against one in the box, the guy is put under no pressure, Twellman is a good striker and it's in the back of the net."

On Carlos Ruiz:
"Well he had one or two things to sort out obviously because he was away on international duty it was very difficult for him to get back into LA to sort all that out. But he is our player, I know Mo's (Johnston) made contact with him he's looking forward (to coming), he wished all the guys the best of luck tonight, he'll be with us hopefully Monday and he can't wait to get going."

TORONTO FC GOALKEEPER GREG SUTTON

On his late save:
"It was just kind of a bang-bang play from them, they got a lucky deflection that was able to sneak through, he (Ralston) got a pretty good shot off and I got enough of a hand on it to put it wide of the post."

TORONTO FC FORWARD CHAD BARRETT

On the game:
"We did more than enough to get the three points, we had good chances, we dominated, and Sutton really didn't have to do too much. Defensively we were pretty solid, they get one chance and we make one mistake and it's unlucky for the guys because we worked our tail off the whole game."

On Carlos Ruiz:
"No, as I said before when I played my first game here, I like the pressure. You know I thrive on it, I scored two goals in four games but I want to score four in four games. I don't want to stop but with Carlos up here, hopefully he can bang some in too and we can get some wins."

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION HEAD COACH STEVE NICOL

On the game:
"I think for an hour today we were great we passed the ball real well and the traveling caught up with us the last half hour of the game. The effort was phenomenal -- everybody kept going right to the end, which is not surprisingly considering the players we have. On the one hand we're disappointed but on the other hand the effort was good. We made chances; we could have won the game. We only have one fit striker at the present time but we're traveling here, there and everywhere and that takes its toll, so we're kind of happy to get something out of the game."

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION MIDFIELDER SHALRIE JOSEPH

On the game:
"We played well as a team, it's a hard place, it's a great place to play they get great fan support and it's a great environment to play soccer. Tonight was one of those where we got the lead early and just couldn't hold on they kept pushing and attacking we created chances, they created chances. At the end of the day both teams did well for the point, we could have got the three points late in the game, it's one of those where you take one point out and look forward to the next one."

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION DEFENDER MICHAEL PARKHURST

On the game:
"It's a tough place to play, and it's a good atmosphere. You know we were fortunate to get that first goal, and unfortunate to not score that goal in the 90th minute, but we definitely absorbed some pressure there. But we'll take a point up here because it's a tough place to play."

NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION FORWARD TAYLOR TWELLMAN

On his keys to success against Toronto:
"Obviously, we're a little disappointed not getting the victory, we definitely had the better run of play early on but to get a result on the road in a hostile place like this is big."
