World Cup: Chivas USA's Oswaldo Minda gets second straight start for Ecuador
If it ain't broke, don't fix it -- at least in Ecuador's midfield.
La Tri Head coach Reinaldo Rueda has opted for the same four in the middle of the field for Ecuador's final Group E game on Wednesday, against France.
Minda, 30, will reach his 20th cap for his country against France, and will be given the tall task of providing support to stop France's free-scoring attack.
The midfielder, with Chivas USA since the start of the 2012 season, was originally selected as an alternate to Rueda's World Cup squad. But after longtime regular Segundo Castillo went down with a knee injury suffered in a pre-World Cup friendly against Mexico, Minda was called into the 23-man squad, the final player to join La Tri for the tournament.
