VIDEO: FC Dallas set for Super Bowl, channeling inner-Richard Sherman, Peyton Manning | SIDELINE
Super Bowl XLVIII (that's Super Bowl 48, for the younger generation among us) is this weekend.
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman have emerged as two of the game's biggest stars throughout the media's hype leading up to Sunday's showdown.
Manning for his career-long standing as one of the sport's greatest ever, and Sherman for his postgame rant following the NFC Championship game which nearly broke Twitter, thanks to a deluge of viewers' scorn.
A deep competitive fire is something that runs deep within athletes who are the best at their respective sports — whether playing professionally in MLS, the NFL, the EPL, or not-so-friendly games of Battleship and tic-tac-toe.
At least, that last little bit is true for George John and Stephen Keel, a pair of FC Dallas defenders, as well as Seattle and Denver natives, respectively.
Enjoy the above and below videos of John explaining why Keel had better not come at him with that weak, tired tic-tac-toe game ever again, and Keel on why he's so deceptive and unbeatable on the open seas of Battleship.
